Lee's isn't the best bahn mi shop out there but it's for sure the most convenient. Depending on what time you go you can get in and out in about 5 minutes which in my book is amazing. Although prices have gone up since I was younger, the quality of food has stayed the same and I'm not mad about it. Also if you need a big pick me up order their coffee and you'll be wired for the whole day

I think the Lee's on Brookhurst in OC is my favorite. Next would be the original Lee's in San Jose, then Cupertino on Stevens Creek and the one in Sunnyvale on El Camino is probably the closest to me. I don't often come to this Lee's in Milpitas because there are so many other great eateries in the area. We were on a bit of limited time today so stopped to get a quick bite here. Now while the place is a bit on the shabby side, the sandwiches still deliver. I got a #11 and my wife got a #6. I think it's one of the rare times in my life that I can say the actual sandwich you get looks better than the advertisement or picture on the menu.

Quality/Quantity - Back in the day you had the BEST sandwiches and coffee!! Back in my SJ days, you were fresh low cost leaders. This location has a very good selection of all products, snacks, drinks, ramen, appetizers, desserts, etc. And of course, sandwiches. They have a not so secret menu; see picture. Not sure if this location has hot deli foods? Atmosphere - One of the larger locations. Open 7 days a week from 7am to 7pm or 7:30pm. For winter hours, see picture. Yelp hours differ. Plenty of mall parking. Service - This location seems like one of the more experienced and organized locations. Price - Back in the SJ days, you were fresh low cost leaders. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1983 and with your 60+ locations. I have watched your success since 2001 and sadly I feel your franchises have HURT your brand and unless my wife makes me, I rarely shop your brand any more.

Stopped by this area since I wanted to drop off items to a donation site nearby. I figured since I did not have lunch yet I should swing by Lee's sandwich to get a quick meal. I wanted to check the price first and saw that the sandwiches here were a lot cheaper than @ the Santa Clara location! So I decided to get my fav meatball sandwich. I can't really rate on whether or not this is better than the same sandwich @ other places but I have to say that as a hungry person that was eating around 2:30p (when I normally eat around 12p) it was pretty darn good. The cashier, ringing me up, was pretty nice also. It did take a little bit of time (about 10-15 min) to make the sandwich. But I guess since all I had to do was just stare @ my phone, it didn't matter too much. If I was ever back in the area by myself and need a quick and "cheap" bite, I would still come back here.
